Prosoft-Systems implements process data exchange system at the power stations of the Sverdlovsk region

29 January 2019

Prosoft-Systems Engineers have put process data exchange systems with system operator into commercial operation at the Sverdlovskaya CHP and Pervouralskaya CHP. The project was realized to meet the needs of the Sverdlovsk branch of PJSC T Plus.

All work on the creation of the data exchange system at these power stations was performed by ProSoft-Systems specialists. The company's engineers prepared the system's working documentation, supplied and installed the equipment, performed adjustments of the software and hardware at the facilities, and conducted the commissioning tests.

Today, the process data exchange systems with system operator at the Sverdlovskaya CHP and Pervouralskaya CHP operate uninterrupted around the clock. ARIS C303 controllers are used as lower-level devices. These devices collect real-time technical data about the operation of the power stations' equipment, then transmit that data to upper-level operations and service personnel as well as the system operator at the Sverdlovsk Regional Dispatching Center.

In the course of operation, the system performs ongoing diagnostics on the condition of the devices. Results are displayed on the automated workstation monitors and recorded in the "event log". The ARIS SCADA package is used as the software.

The process data exchange systems with system operator at the Sverdlovskaya CHP and Pervouralskaya CHP also include a fault recording subsystems (FRS). The ProSoft-Systems RES-3 recorders monitor emergency events.

The implemented telecontrol systems improve the reliability of the main and auxiliary power station equipment, reduce the risk of emergency events and lower operating costs.
